Wild Wonderful Wizarding Rap

Saturday, PBun had an unplanned rest day
But she did get to hang briefly with KBun, oh by the way
She also received a special delivery
Team shirts for the Pine Creek Ultra relay

Can you guess which pine cone represents each rabbit? 

Sunday things were more on track
Made up her Saturday zwift workout with mods as a matter of fact
Started her day with a virtual 5k race
But it was two for one in this case
RNR VR 18 along with the Wizard Run 3 1/10th
The latter included a medal and shirt... The RNR badges now makes her 8th!

Now PBun's badges are nicely balanced!

Rounded things out with a short and sweet swim

I love how Jaws is wearing a Hello Kitty bow! 

That meant more time with KBun for the win!

The water was fabulous! 

JRab and STUR went camping in West Virginia’s Hardy County-
Fresh air and mountains? There was certainly a bounty!
Highlight was a hot but beautiful hike up to Cranny’s Crow-
Only (!!) 3200 feet up AND down don’t you know!

What a view!!

Corrie and Jamie came for the day and were very helpful with the Lazman-
As for going down hill - STUR’s knees are not a fan!

Nice progression of colors, ladies!! 

Their campsite was in spitting distance of the swimming pool-
If she didn’t take a dip- she’d certainly be a fool!

This looks like a great way to camp! 

Always fun to swim in a new pool!!

They also had a rocking badminton court-
Hey! Maybe this will be JRab's and STUR’s new sport!

So...who won?

They certainly had their share of some heavy rain-
But seeing Saturn, Jupiter and the Milky Way made it worth the pain!
So the weather was a little wild but the trip was wonderful you see
Which is fitting of course when you visit W-V
Once home STUR made it over for a real swim
She had made a reservation so not on a whim!
Lynn aka Stilt was training in Amish country
Look up ahead  - is that a horse and buggy?

Not something you see every day!! 

CBun and HRab flew out of town for a hiking vacation
Being at Olympic National Park sounds like heaven!

OWSUP Rap

STUR started off her weekend with some long course laps -
After that swim - no time to collapse!
As she was off to the trail to run for an hour -
Brought along motivational music- she’s got the power!
KBun hopped on zwift but her session got cut short
But had an emergency call anyway, so she would have had to abort
PBun basically did a reverse triathlon
Run, MTB, then a mile swim sure was fun!

Texting and SUP-ing is never recommended:
KBun NOT running into the shoreline would certainly be splendid!

The OG rabbits weren't lying down on the job -
They had just been paddling through a little bit of chop!

Talked about living life in the Hollow
Just like Loretta Lynn, don't you know?
Saw lots of turtles and a young family of ducks
And no one in their party went swimming, aw shucks!

Corrie was the trusty photographer out on the water
But KBun also snapped picture of her!

They also saw a bald eagle flying overhead -
Amazing to watch those huge wings spread!
On Sunday all three rabbits got their longest swim of the year...
Around the buoys at Lake Arrowhead - give a cheer!

Of course they had their goggles at the ready
Speaking of which they were ready to swim steady!

Water was a perfectly pleasant 76 degrees...
As many laps as you can do in 90 minutes if you please!
A lot of dogs took a dip including a fancy while poodle...
You would have thought it was a Labradoodle!
The rabbits were recognizable in their matching caps -
Did it confuse at least one person? Perhaps!

Took the scenic route home to get ice cream at Moo Thru
Keeping a cow length apart is what they had to do

Meanwhile, CBun ran long at just under 18
Put those miles in the Pine Creek bank, cha-ching, cha-ching!

Rock'n Rainy Riley Rap!

Weekend started with a Friday night adult swim class

KBun was participating and everyone had a blast!

These swimmers are doing great! 

For KBun’s birthday Riley posed with all of her Lambchops -
Just before that all the OG Rabbits got ice cream together - that rocks!

On Saturday STUR swam in the 50 meter pool outside -
No rain or thunderstorms - that deserves a high five!
Headed over to the trail for a short but nice run
Kind of nice to NOT be in the direct sun!
PBun slept in with a lazy start to her day
But then on the KICKR core she did play
Afterwards of course she headed outside for a short run brick
Then hopped  to EPSC and met KBun – that 45 minute swim went quick!

The water was so nice!

On rainy Sunday morning STUR and the LazMan went for a quick and short trot -
Then she headed over to spin fit class – where she had a much desired slot!
After that she swam a few indoor laps -
Sixth day in a row with the swim - how about that?
PBun ran a 5k time trial in the rain
It was humid and cool but nice for a change!
She and KBun decided to skip their Sunday noon swim
Being in the cool rain didn't sound like a win 

Ali Acme Rap

No better way to start off the weekend but with a partner workout-
Birthday WOD for Coach Ali- lets give a shout!
STUR and her gym buddy made quite the team!
You can probably tell that there was a theme!

Later that day she hit up the river with a paddle board -
She fell in just a couple times - oh good lord!
Meanwhile, PBun headed out with Riley on a super short trip to P-A
Small masked family wedding was getting underway

The weather was gorgeous for the outdoor ceremony
And the dinner tables all had hand sanitizer - no need to get antsy
Western P-A Polish weddings have a really cool event
Bridal dance and throw some money in the apron? You bet!
After a quick spin you can have a shot
Choose from Fireball or maybe Peach Schnapps
Sunday morning swim for the good old LazMan -
Cooling off in the river - he is definitely a fan!
Then STUR headed to the gym to spin her legs out-
Did she then enjoy a two mile indoor swim? Without a doubt!

The morning temperature in Acme was a on the chilly side
But that can happen in the mountains, you see!

Stilt and PBun went to run on the Coal & Coke Trail
Just a short out and back before breakfast up Main Street on the hill
Afterwards she and Riley hit the road
In no time at all they were back at their abode!

Hot & Stormy Rap

Friday morning after a shortened crack swim, PBun hit the road
Headed down to ATL to PGoodz’s abode

It was nice to see Luna, too!

Rolled into town pretty much on schedule
Just one short traffic slowdown with which to deal
For dinner they had some tasty barbecue
Got it to go which seems to be what to do

Delicious!

STUR spent her weekend working out and hanging with the LazMan -
Started off with a 5KEH dog walk then by herself she ran!
Hopped over to the gym for a little partner WOD event -
Did the heat make cleans and thrusters seem harder? Yes - 100 percent!
Saturday started off quite lazy for PBun
But that’s OK because for her it was a mini vacation!

PBun could not afford the rent on this sucker!
Dang diploma which is the equivalent of hotels in regular Monopoly!

After PBun went bankrupt playing PGoodz in "Auburn-opoly,"

They went on a quest for some fancy doughnuts, you see!

STUR's Sunday started off with another dog walk -
Then another sweaty gym spin session - it’s hot, not a shock!
The indoor Lee pool afterwards felt so divine!
Another 90 minute swim, lots and lots of time!
Again it was a lazy start to PBun’s day
With take away brunch from Waffle House, by the way

It's tradition!

They got caught up in a Jurassic Park marathon
Including Google 3D velociraptors and pteranodons!

PBun’s drive home on Monday was also fairly smooth
Till she hit the beginnings of Tropical Storm Isaias on the move!
She eventually made it home safe and sound
And thankfully no actual traffic delays could be found
