Headed to Cambridge to cheer on WUD in some swim~bike~bun!

Arrived at IMMD to learn the swim was canceled due to the white caps
Team Rabbit looked at the water and said, "Oh crap!"

Got to see WUD as she started the bike-
After that the rabbits took a hike.
Among the rabbits they took a poll.
So it was to Walgreens they would roll:

Along highway 50 would be their route to the store -
LOTS of horn blowing - these rabbits they adore!
Stopped to take a seat at the Portside dock
Did some push-ups, sit-ups, and dips - that rocked!

Then BLUR* got up to hail a waiter...
Beers for lunch? Why wait till later!

Soon there after Pam would be done with her ride -
So back over the drawbridge the group would stride.
But first BLUR and STEB needed to drop some things back at the car...
Another shuttle ride since it was a bit far!
STUR and RBud got the timing wrong -
They missed WUD at her transition - she was fast and strong!
Got to see WUD again on the first loop
Hung out at the tent by the Team Z group!

Then they went to see WUD on the course a little further down -
It was pretty spectator friendly and neat how it went through town!
An encouraging spectator was cheering the athletes in a hat like a jester;
Running beside them in jeans - he wasn't trying to pester!

The water was so high on part of the run route, it was crazy...
Some runners had to walk - not because they were lazy!

The day turned out to be somewhat of a dog show...
The rabbits had to pet all the heads don't you know?!
Sat on the bleachers to watch for WUD and here's the deal:
It started to pour rain and that's when things got real!
The rain was so bad at one point during WUD's 2nd and 3rd loop
The Cheer Crew took cover in the Ironman Store tent, that's the scoop!
Then RBud guessed well what time WUD would return...
And they were able to see her finish up on the jumbotron!

The Rabbits got to meet up with WUD right after
Told them about how tough it was to run in shin high water!!

Then the rabbits headed out to find the shuttle bus
The line was too long, so walking 2.3 miles would be no fuss!
Turns out during the day they walked at least 13.1 -
Because you know the half marathon distance is fun!
