Virtual Unsocial Rap

Early Saturday PBun, KBUN , and STUR met up for some virtual run fun-
Initially at Fletcher's Cove there was more rain than sun!
First KBun and STUR did a one mile warm up-
Then they met PBun back at the lot, “whassup?!”

Rabbits, keeping their distance!

Did a selfie with hopefully proper social distancing-
That is what we’ve been told to do - are you listening?
PBun was going to support from her mountain bike -
First made a stop at Little Falls if you like!

Headed toward Little Falls!

Still keeping their distance! 

All the way up to Carderock recreation area!
Met up with BLUR and David - no hugging hysteria!

OK, somewhat keeping their distance!

After a short while PBun, KBun, and STUR made their way back to their cars-
But they needed some more nutrition - it was kind of far.
But yay! PBun will soon be to the rescue!
She biked ahead and retrieved some hydration and snacks, it’s true!
After the three rabbits arrived back at their cars
It was then time for PBun to depart!
She headed back home and eventually took a nap
She must've needed it, that's a fact!
But two rabbits were not done with their virtual race day...
They had a few more miles up their sleeves, oh by the way!
They went 3 miles up to the start of the tow path -
So 3 miles back would give them 23.5 miles - do the math!
Rabbits are slowing down - listened to music to keep up the mental game!
Chariots of Fire song gave them a boost - can you blame!
Someone remarked that the pair looked “hardcore”
For a moment this made their spirits soar!
Next thing you know they got it done!
What a day of 31.07 mile fun!
But hold your horses - KBun is not finished yet:
Ten more miles for her on the path? On that you can bet!
STUR set up her aid station at lock number seven-
Chocolate chip cookies and jellybeans - KBun was in heaven!
STUR then picked up KBun at Carderock...
And in the dark later 10 more miles she would run/walk!
Next morning KBun was up for more time on the trail...
STUR met her again with some snacks without fail.
Another beautiful day and she ended up with 100k -
Team Rabbit knows she will complete 100 miles one day.
Meanwhile, PBun was concerned that her fridge was about to give out
So she headed out to get a new one - give a little shout!
Afterwards she got in a little run walk of her own
Including some time with Riley - even she was in the zone!
