A- STUR's brother ANDY came over from Vermont to hang on race day!
Ended up walking about 10 miles together - you don't say?
B- There was a slight mix up about which BLUE liquid WUD should drink
STUR by accident brought both in their room in a blink
The girls laughed a lot about this -
WUD decided to give the wiper fluid a miss!
C - STUR got a run in on the actual run COURSE!
She knows the route by heart - she needed no other source.
D- They decided DNF stands for DID NOT FAIL-
You always succeed if you did not bail!

Sometimes the raps are a group effort - not a crime!
E- Their room at the Town and Country looked like a triathlon EXPLOSION
Sure hope she remembers the sunscreen lotion!
F- WUD practiced on Saturday how to change a FLAT-
And she didn't have one on Sunday - how about that!?
G- WUD wants you to know she feels no doom and GLOOM-
She'll be racing again at IM very soon!
H- Post race celebration took place at the HUNGRY Trout-
The views were spectacular without a doubt
I- Another positive is after the race WUD didn't need an IV-
STUR didn't find her in the med tent you see!
J- There's always snow in Lake Placid it's not a JOKE-
It sure ends up fooling a lot of folks!
K- STUR had so much good parking KARMA everywhere she went-
Especially on race day- it was heaven sent!
L-'LESSONS learned and choices made-
This is how WUD's Ironman day was played.
Lesson number one is get to the swim early in your wave-
It seems time on the bike you can now save!
M- On Friday WUD's pre race brick started right there on the water-
Audrey and Betty were swim start squatters!
N- On Saturday the rabbits attended a talk put on by EnduranceNATION-
How to race lake placid? They gave an explanation!
O- ON the first 40 miles of the bike - they said take it easy-
Like you're eating a bucket of chicken with your hands all greasy!
P- So many POSITIVE things to be said about the race-
This time the SAG wagon did not get up in WUD's face!
She cruised into transition under her very own power-
So for her isn't wasn't too much of a downer!
Q- the pro Heather Jackson won the race- she was the QUEEN-
She got the course record it would seem!
R-The bunnies breezed into town and headed to REGISTRATION-
So excited to be here - it's like a vacation!
But what's this? The event is no longer at the school?
It's in the ice arena - don't be a fool!
S- WUD left the SWIM with a red carpet SMILE-
She'd be on the bike now for a little while!
T- at the Ironman expo WUD and STUR got matching TYE-DYE M-dot shirts-
Hard not to spend money there - such a strong force!
U- STUR had 3 UNBELIEVABLE swims in Mirror Lake-
7.8 miles total for goodness' sake!
V- Although neither of the bunnies had a VALID Price "Choppah" card-
From that store the girls certainly weren't barred.
It was the place to be about midnight on the day of the race-
They were grabbing different kinds of ice cream all over the place.
W- On the way up the route they took an over-nighter in WOODSTOCK-
Nice hotel and restaurant in which to flop!
X- For their pre-race dinner in town at Mr. Mike's, X marks the spot-
Yummy pizza and pasta is what they've got!
For their pre pre-race meal they visited a familiar haunt
The North Woods Inn - the bunnies went there before on a jaunt!
Y- a YELLOW lab named Copper stole the bunnies' hearts-
He spends his days at the Golden Arrow near the swim start
Z - STUR and Andy went out to near the top of the "bears" on the fly-
It was fun to see WUD zooming by!
